My dear friend Kasey recently married her soulmate this last June. Every single detail of her wedding was perfectly planned and reflected the couple’s classic, rustic style. Eric is an avid outdoorsman and Kasey is happiest in the mountains snowboarding, so it was only fitting for them to get married at the Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah.
Wedding guests were greeted by a lift attendant who helped them on the ski lift to ride to the top of the mountain where the ceremony was held.
Once guests were seated at the top, the bridal party took their turn up the lift.
Lastly, the bride and her father were able to share this special moment together.
The ceremony was held on the top of Solitude Mountain Resort under an altar the groom and the father of the bride built by hand, which now has a permanent home in the newlyweds’ garden.
After a picturesque first kiss as husband and wife, the newlyweds made their way down the lift to celebrate their union.
The reception was held at Solitude’s Moonbeam Lodge and every detail perfectly reflected the couple’s style and personalities.
One of the highlights of the reception was having one of Utah’s favorite local bands,
The Strike, perform covers from a variety of artists, from Maroon 5 to Tupac.
Me & the stunning bride.
